Japanese man claims to be descendant of christ

In the town of Shingo rests something I bet you never would have guessed. There lies the last resting place of Jesus, and there with it, are the descendants of a messiac legacy. According to some records found in 1935, the small town of Shingo, Aomori prefecture, Japan, is the final destination of Jesus Christ. In a statement, Mr Sawaguchi, wasn't really planning anything for Christmas.

"I'm not really planning anything at all for the 25th as it doesn't really matter to us," said 52-year-old Mr Sawaguchi. "I know I am descended from Jesus but as a Buddhist it's just not all that important."

According to the story, Jesus had come to Japan when he was 21. He assumed a new name, Daitenku Taro Jurai and learned Japanese. He gained an affinity to the Japanese people. I mean who wouldn't right? It seems that everyone who goes to Japan seems to become enchanted by life there.

Eleven years later, he returns and is beset upon by the Romans. Now here's where we go different here. But the Romans instead, got the wrong man and crucified his apparently adopted brother, Isikuri, to the cross. Jesus fled to Japan and spent the rest of his days there, living until the age of 106 and having 3 daughters.

I say judge for yourself. Could they really be the last descendants of Jesus?

Sounds like a movie of the week to me! Is there a way to say Da Vinci Code in Japanese I wonder? :)
